CAULIFLOWER-BROCCOLI-GREEN PEAS SABZI

I am a great fan of mixed sabzis. Broccoli is not a common vegetable in India. It does not have a taste of its own. I have cooked it with cauliflower and green peas with Indian touch.

Ingredients:
Cauliflower ... 100 gms
Broccoli ........ 100 gms
Green peas .... 100 gms
Onion ........... 1 cup sliced
Tomato ....... .. 1
Green chillies .. 2
Spring onion ... 1/2 cup
Tomato puree .. 2 tbsps
Garlic .......... 1 tbsp (crushed)
Ginger ........ 1 tbsp (grated)
Cumin powder ..  1tsp
Coriander powder .. 1 tsp
Red chilli powder ... 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder .... 1/2 tsp
Salt ................ to taste
Oil ........... 2-3 tbsps
Coriander leaves ... handful

Method:
1. Cut the cauliflower and broccoli into small pieces. Leave them in hot water with a salt added to it.
2. In a pan heat oil and saute the garlic. Add the sliced onions and ginger and fry for 2 -3 minutes.
3. Now add all the veggies, tomato pulp, salt and spice powders.
4. Simmer until done, stirring it a couple of times.
garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve with rotis.

Pin for later
