GREEN MASALA RICE

This is another innovative recipe of mom..whenever we made green masala for making curries, she would set aside a little to make this flavourful rice dish.
Ingredients:
Rice ....... 1 cup
Coriander powder .. 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder ....... 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder ... 1/8 tsp
Salt ..... to taste
Oil ..... 2-3 tbsps
Green masala .... 1/4 cup or little more as per taste

Method:
1. Wash and soak the rice.

2. Heat the oil in a pan and add the green masala paste.

3. Saute it for a minute and add the salt and spice powders.

4. Stir in the rice and mix well. Add 2 cups water and cook until done.

Serve hot with Raita, papad or Sukhe Aloo.
